Grapefruit seed extract is kind of amazing. You’ve probably enjoyed the tart treat and never considered the healing power of its seeds. Here’s why it’s one of the most potent extracts for troubled skin.

The fleshy part of grapefruit is touted for its weight loss assistance, along with cellulite reduction, but the seeds actually have a different potency. The extract has anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. It’s useful in the treatment of candidiasis and other skin infections, including acne and dermatitis.

It works so well for clogged skin because it regulates the build-up of oil in the pores. It’s also an astringent and anti-inflammatory.

Here are a few ways to get clearer skin with GSE:
– Add a few drops to your cleanser and emulsify it in your hands before applying it to the face. NOTE: GSE should ALWAYS be diluted before applying to the skin to avoid irritation.
– Apply three drops to a witch hazel toner.
– Add one drop to hemp oil and apply to skin.
– Add a few drops to a glass of apple juice and take internally for infections and cleansing.

PRECAUTIONS: Never use GSE near your eyes.

How would you use GSE?
